Editorial and verification method

Last updated

We preserve the exact English error string, explain it in plain language, and label what is reported versus what has been reviewed.

01

Error phrase index

Phrases come from official documentation, public issue trackers, vendor communities, and public user reports. We label the source type. A phrase appearing in the index means it was reported publicly; it does not mean we have verified a fix.

02

Guide standard

A guide should identify the likely owner, state the safest first check, avoid destructive changes, provide a verification step, and link to primary sources. Thin pages for small wording variants are not created.

03

Trust ledger

Each guide shows its last review date, applicable products or environments, and official source count. Product behavior can change after that date, so readers should also check current service status and release notes.

04

Corrections and independence

Named products do not approve these guides. We correct material errors when primary evidence changes and distinguish editorial guidance from advertisements or referrals.
